<font size=2>Among the many stores opened last March, I particularly hold dear the two opened in Libya, because they clearly show and fulfil the true spirit of our company and its collaborators.  The respect for our franchisees is shown in a tangible way just in cases like that in which the company has not left the local market even during the dramatic events affecting the country, but it has started to foster development again as soon as possible (and the two stores opened are a clear example) thus giving its real contribution to a return to optimism necessary for the restoration of the country. </font></p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><em>The corporate group based in Rimini, which operates in the clothing industry through Terranova, Rinascimento and Calliope brands, close the year with a turnover of 367 million Euros, with an increase of 7.8%</em></p>
<p>It was a positive 2011 for Teddy Corporate Group.  The Rimini-based company celebrated its 50<sup>th</sup> anniversary and closed the year with a turnover of 367 million Euros, thus marking an increase of 7.8% compared to the previous year and keeping unchanged the number of garments sold.<br />
Even the number of employees has increased to 726 (+15.8%).<br />
With regard to the number of points of sale, at the end of the year the company could rely on 567 stores branded Terranova, Calliope and Rinascimento, located in 33 countries all over the world.</p>

<p><strong>Pierluigi, could you tell us what happened in 2011?</strong><br />
While everybody will remember 2011 as the year of a world crisis, at Teddy we will remember it as the year in which we carried out the development programs planned in 2010: the closedown of stores with unsuitable sizes, many new openings and many refurbishments.</p>
<p><strong>Which programs have been successfully carried out?</strong><br />
The launch of Rinascimento sales network, the development of visual merchandising strategies, the opening of many points of sale featuring larger, important sizes in important locations, the launch of a corporate training program for our employees have represented the best way to celebrate the 50th anniversary of our corporate group thus projecting us into the future.</p>
<p><strong>What do you think about the year that has just started?</strong><br />
In 2012 we have to go on working on development as we have been doing in the last years with the clear aim of repositioning Terranova brand through locations provided with medium-sized sales areas, from 600 to 1,200 sq. m.  Calliope and Rinascimento will go on following their development plans, as already outlined in our five-year business plan.</p>
<p><strong>Where do you aim at implementing your development programs?</strong><br />
With regard to development areas, in addition to the 33 countries in which we currently operate, there are new countries we are now considering such as India, China and some North European countries.  New openings in those countries are likely to take place only in 2013, but assessment and planning will be developed over the current year.</p>
<p><strong>Is there any other project on the go?</strong><br />
We will expand further the current shopping experience, developing and improving it, we will also launch an important project related to customer relationship management, make our Terranova e-store operate at full capacity and speed up the manufacturing process.  We have never stopped and certainly we are not going to stop now.</p>

<p>&#8220;2011 was a tough year for international markets, there’s no denying it, even though problems may not be the same on all the markets; our corporate group operates in more than 30 countries through Terranova and Calliope brands and in more than 90 through Rinascimento brand.<br />

<p>Teddy achieved good results at the end of the last year with regard to turnover, profits and cash generation, managing to keep the number of garments sold unchanged; therefore, we can regard ourselves as happy.<br />
Furthermore, there is a great confidence about 2012, with cotton prices kept unchanged thanks to agreements signed with our main suppliers and with larger quantities that will allow us to meet the demand of final customers and to keep prices low. </p>
